Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by East West Surveyors. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Services

We provide land and construction surveying services as agreed in your project brief or quote. All services are delivered in accordance with industry standards and local regulations.

2. Quotations

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Any changes in project scope may require a revised quote. Fees include GST unless stated otherwise.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate property access and contact details
  • Obtain any necessary approvals or documentation
  • Notify us of site hazards or changes before our visit

4. Site Access

You must ensure safe and reasonable access to the site. If access is obstructed or unsafe, we reserve the right to reschedule or charge additional fees.

5. Cancellations

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

6. Deliverables

Survey plans and documentation will be provided in digital format (PDF/DWG) unless otherwise agreed. Delivery times vary based on project scope and conditions.

7. Liability

We take care to provide accurate and professional services. However, we are not liable for:

  • Issues arising from incorrect information provided by the client
  • Delays caused by third parties or external factors
  • Use of our reports outside their intended purpose

Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Intellectual Property

All plans, reports, and documents remain the intellectual property of East West Surveyors until full payment is received. Clients are granted a non-exclusive licence to use the deliverables for the approved project only.

9. Payment Terms

Invoices are due within 14 days unless stated otherwise. Late payments may attract interest or collection costs.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
